VISUALIZATION OF A PATHOLOGY

This project was part of my MSc Medical Art
EL DESAFÍO
Some pathologies and anatomical structures are better visualized in 3D space. The goal of this task was to create an interactive 3D model of a polycystic kidney from scratch.
LA SOLUCIÓN
Since the shape is very organic, Zbrush was used to sculpt and paint the kidney. After sculpting the base shape and the details, the model was textured using both paint and reference pictures of polycystic kidneys.
